All Group Meeting Minutes 10-25-11

 

·      We first heard a devotional from Nate: he spoke with us about an experience he had in high school and how that led him to see the need to love others around us because God loves us.

·      If you are interested in volunteering for a devotional contact: Andrew.Denecke@valpo.edu

·      Josh Bieck then spoke about the PSJS that is on November 5^th.  There is an interactive "hunger lunch" at this event.

·      The keynote speaker this year is Priscilla Ruiz Guillen and will discuss "women's rights &Indigenous' Rights are HUMAN rights"

·      The World Relief Campaign is approaching and applications are coming in. Get ready to vote and decide on the campaign for the next semester!

·      Selling crafts tomorrow at the Diwali Festival. Amber, Lauren, Joel and Jenni may volunteer for this.

·      Pastor Jim- there is an internship for someone interested in participating in an on campus malaria initiative. If interested, contact Pastor Jim.

·      WE ARE GETTING NEW T-SHIRTS! Vote on what you want on the SALT facebook page!
