Hello All! 

10-18-11 All Group Meeting Minutes

 

·      Joel talked to us about VUTV. Create a video about 20-25 minutes long with your focus groups. These videos could include an in studio interview with the crew at VUTV, or perhaps sitcoms, round table discussions.

·      If you are interested in giving a devotion for the SALT meetings, contact Andrew.Denecke@valpo.edu

·      He is also holding a devotional/Bible Study on Thursday nights if you are interested in attending.

·      We heard from Pastor Jim about how Social Justice plays into our work with the focus groups

·      Looking at causes versus symptoms of the specific issue

·      Attending to or building awareness around root causes

·      10/19- Migrant Workers Talk

·      10/19 2pm- The Thirst Project in the VU bookstore

·      10/21- Homelessness Sleep out. There will be Pancakes in the morning! J

·      10/22- Earthtones Event

·      10/25- Have a heart residential Assistant Event

·      10/27- Study Abroad Fair

·      10/29- Pumpkin Picking

·      10/31- Trick-or-Treating. Meet at S-couch at 5pm for volunteering and fun times!

·      11/5- PSJS 9am-4pm
